ICMAMS 5 – 1-3 July 2026, INSA Toulouse, Toulouse, France
The 5th International Conference on Mechanics of Advanced Materials and Structures (ICMAMS) was successfully held from 1 to 3 July 2026 in Toulouse, France. The event was organized by Institut Clément Ader and hosted at INSA Toulouse, under the chairmanship of Professors Erasmo Carrera and Bruno Castanié.
The conference brought together approximately 135 researchers, academics, and industry professionals from around the world to share recent advances in the mechanics of advanced materials and structures. The scientific programme featured plenary lectures, parallel technical sessions, and stimulating discussions covering a broad range of topics, including composite materials, computational mechanics, metamaterials, structural optimization, and advanced manufacturing.
Beyond the scientific sessions, participants enjoyed a visit to Airbus facilities and a memorable gala dinner surrounded by iconic aircraft, including the Concorde.
The fifth edition further strengthened the ICMAMS tradition of fostering international collaboration, scientific exchange, and new research opportunities in materials and structural mechanics.
